ne of methods of multidimensional analysis. Modifying the data totaling level every of totaling item (dimension) with the OLAP cube, refer to the totaling value to which class differs.

For example, when we assume, that there was a dimension, "period", there was a totaling level which is called year, month and week, year -> month -> week and the operation of referring to more detailed data drill down and the operation of opposite are called drill rise.
