IN (INTELLIGENT NETWORK)
Intelligent Network is a combination of computer and communication technologies, in the existing public telephone network, by adding a variety of standard interfaces with the intelligent node (Node), and then by way of advanced SS7 signaling X.25 communication protocol, these intelligent nodes to be connected so that they can provide economic, convenient and diversified telecommunication new service.
Currently provided by the intelligent network services, including: Multi-receiver reverse charge call service, telephone voting service, a large number of broadcast services, credit-type telephone service, pay-voice information services, portable code service, (WeLLink VPN) edge business communications net.
In-Band Appliance
In-Band Appliance storage virtualisation of this architecture is a new method in which special-purpose storage management device is deployed in the host servers and outside, but maintain the data flow within the SAN. In-band appliances can be deployed in the use of vendor-specific operating environment of the device, or by a standard server appliance software platform, to convert easy to manage CPU storage access device.
Such appliance software provides a logical disk capacity management (Support Management Direct connection or SAN connectivity equipment) and a data access class. Data access logic can be stored as a class NAS file system show the program, or as a virtual disk drive, in which the logical drives for the users, is a device LUNs presented.
Such appliance can be regarded as storage capacity and service blending device, because it effectively provides an entry into the SAN virtual (virtual portal). Usually, such appliance will be available with sophisticated management software to simplify storage configuration and maintenance. In-band appliance can be used with storage devices, vendor-specific technology as an alternative to RAID controller, integrated SAN infrastructure program modules or as standalone devices for a number of devices within the SAN architecture to provide data access.
