S-HTTP Secure HTTP

S-HTTP Secure HTTP, S-Video Super-Video, S / MIME Secure / MIME, SAN Storage Area Network

S-HTTP Secure HTTP
A mention by the ENTERPRISE INTEGRATION TECHNOLOGIES sent to the IETF's HTTP protocol audit (PROTOCOL) extension specifications, will enable secure transmission of information through the WWW. Similar functions are mentioned in the audit sent to the IETF protocol is SSL, but the primary function of SSL is to establish a secure connection (CONNECTION), while the S-HTTP is to establish a secure data transfer.

S-Video Super-Video
A video signal transmission, the image signals separated into color-C (CHROMINANCE) and brightness-Y (LUMINANCE), also known as Y / C separation signal, which can produce more combinations (COMPOSITE) signals a sharp picture.

S / MIME Secure / MIME
Using the RSA public key encryption (PUBLIC-KEY ENCRYPTION) version of the MIME protocol (PROTOCOL), used to e-mail (E-MAIL) content encryption.

SAN Storage Area Network
SAN representatives of Storage Area Network (Storage Area Network), mainly using Fiber Channel (Fibre Channel) with the various storage devices to link. Storage area network benefits include:
1. To Fiber Channel-based, making SAN technology, the storage function of higher, lower costs, upgrades faster and more flexible.
2. A lot of information transmission does not affect the primary network (LAN) capabilities.
3. Save the information easy to backup, when the stored data have been accidental damage from the disaster resilience strong.
4. Fiber Channel is provided by a fiber or copper transmission of data to replace the traditional SCSI channels. SCSI transmission speed per second is only 40 ~ 160 million bytes, while the Fiber Channel can be the transmission speed of up to 400 million bytes, in addition to fiber channel and SCSI can be compatible with each other.
The two systems are mutually compatible features to enable SAN system, new users in the use of SAN systems, do not have to completely abandon the old system, making upgrades easier.
