TLS Transport Layer Security

TLS Transport Layer Security, TNEF Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format, Token Bus Network, Token-Ring Network

TLS Transport Layer Security
TLS 1.0 version of the construction of the SSL 3.1 above, in other words, SSL is the predecessor of TLS. For the SSL case, TLS is the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standards for the successor agreement. SSL protocol is widely used as a protective network communications (HTTP) method, SSL was originally Netscape (Netscape) Communications developed, built into most browsers and networking among the host, in the transport layer (Layer 4) TCP / IP connection will provide data encryption, host authentication, message consistency and selective host authentication. The latest version is SSL version 3. Now SSL has been renamed TLS. Such as WAP, the agreement has been achieved using TLS transport security of WAP. TLS available for the first time in 1997, features included to ensure the authentication (Authentication) of the non-repudiation, confidentiality (Confidentiality) and integrity (Integrity), but also strengthen the SSL protocol to enable encryption to be complete, has now been regarded as the most important network security protocols.

TNEF Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format
Microsoft (MICROSOFT) of the EXCHANGE of the dedicated e-mail (E-MAIL) transmission format.

Token Bus Network
BUS TOPLOGY the delivery of a used ring (TOKEN-PASSING) network infrastructure, operational modalities and TOKEN RING. TOKEN-RING are very similar, but TOKEN RING. TOKEN-RING using the RING TOPOLOGY.IEEE 802.4 define TOKEN BUS specifications.

Token-Ring Network
Token ring network, the network developed by the IBM Communications Agreement (PROTOCOL), IEEE specification 802.5, transmission rates from 4 to 16 MBPS. TOKEN RING mode of operation is to a computer for logical way to ring arrangement, so that all computers in sequence delivery of non-stop token (TOKEN), when the computer to send data must first obtain a token space, and then information and destination addresses added to the token ring within the pass the next station computers, each computer access token, the first to view the token if there were to receive the information, if any, information will be read out, and then continue to pass tokens.
