ASCII Variant of International Alphabet No. 5 CCITT (or code ISO 7 elements) used for exchanging information. This code defines the representation of a character set containing the 26 uppercase and lowercase letters, digits 0 to 9, punctuation, special characters and control characters.
There is an 8-bit ASCII, originally set for microcomputersWhich allows for the lowercase accented letters.
