CSS
The stylesheets (in English "Cascading Style Sheets, CSS Profile) is a language that can manage the presentation of a page Web. The CSS language is a recommendation from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), As well as HTML or XML.
The styles used to define the rules applied to one or more HTML documents. These rules relate to the positioning of components, alignment, fonts, the colors, Margins and spacing, borders, background images, etc..
The goal of CSS is to separate the structure of an HTML document and its presentation. In fact, with HTML, you can define both the structure (content and hierarchy between the different parts of a document) and presentation. But this poses some problems. With the couple HTML / CSS, you can create Web pages or the document structure is in the HTML file while the presentation is in a CSS file.
With CSS you can define such a set of stylistic rules common to all pages of a website. This facilitates the modification of the presentation of an entire site. CSS also lets you define different rules for each display support (a browser classic television, mobile support, a Braille reader ...). CSS also improves the accessibility of web documents.
In addition, CSS adds new features compared to the HTML view of style. Indeed, HTML allows management rather crude style of documents.
An example CSS rule:
p font-color: red; font-size: 12pt
Rationale: This rule sets the color and text size for <p> elements (paragraphs) of an HTML document. Thus, all paragraphs will have a red font and a size of 12 points.
Cyberspace
Imaginary place metaphorically applied to the network Internet.
Customers then circulate in the network to learn, discuss, have fun, hang out ... like in the real world.
Note: The English word cyberspace was created by William Gibson in his book Neuromancer. The term cyberspace is sometimes used in the sense of the world "virtual".
DAB
The standard DAB broadcasting system DigitalWas destined to become the replacement for FM broadcasting Analog thanks to its numerous advantages: digital audio quality, increase the number of stations, robustness against disturbances when used in mobile reception ...
The DAB standard and its implementations have however failed to establish a system to transmit a large number of radio stations with good quality. And type systems DMB, Extensions of DAB can carry 4 times more flow stations and are currently preferred.
However, some ATM networks deployed in the late '80s will change. WorldDMB announced in November 2006 the establishment of codec Audio AAC+ To improve the quality of the radio Replacement MPEG-2 (the latter failing to meet quality FM less than 192 kbps).
In France, the T-DMB was chosen as standard dissemination digital radio.
DAC
Converter Dig digital sound in a waveform Analog (which, in turn, is usually amplified and converted into audible sound).
