DLP
Acronym Digital Light Processing (also called the DMD). It is a process developed by Texas Instrument to reproduce an image of high quality. It is based on movements a multitude of micromirrors that reflect, more or less, light to reconstruct the details and values Contrast an image through the lens of a video or an overhead projector. The color is returned by a thumbwheel switch which includes multiple segments red, blue and green and runs between the lamp and the matrix speed synchronized. The number of mirrors determines the image resolution. A new generation of DLP, consisting of three matrices for the three Primary Color, Can dispense with the thumbwheel switch on some projectors of very high quality.
