Technical Terms

Kernel
Also known as kernelIt is the fundamental part of an operating system. The kernel can simplify and secure the use of different components and devices of thecomputer. It also determines what program should run, and for how weather through a process called sequencing.

Keylogger
Type spyware specialized spy keystrokes on thecomputer which hosts, and transmit them via Internet to an address where a hacker can exploit them. A keylogger can collect and transmit your passwords, ATM card, entitled under which you log on.

Kiosk
Service provided by a network operator.
When users connect to a value added service, billing and bill collection is provided by the network operator to reverse the service provider his share.

LAN
Local Area Network: communication system to link hundreds ofcomputers and devices in a radius of several kilometers. Appearing in 1970, LAN has expanded greatly with the development of micro -computer in the 1980s and the advent of the communication standard Ethernet. Conversely, the network view (WAN) bring together thousands of computers separated by hundreds or thousands of miles.
