Longhorn
Former code name for the next version of Windows operating system from Microsoft that succeeds Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. It was so named until July 22, 2005, when the official name of Windows Vista was unveiled at a show in the U.S.. The first Beta is available since July 27, 2005, the final version is scheduled for June 2006.
