Teleservice
Telecommunications service offered to the user-interface terminal and corresponding to layers 1 to 7 OSI. The terminal type and Protocols are specified.
The Group 4 fax, phone at 3 kHz or 7kHz are examples of teleservices.

HDTV
The high-definition television (HDTV abbreviated in French or in English to HDTV High Definition TV) is characterized mainly by a 16:9 aspect ratio and improved resolution image.

Connectivity needed to restore signal quality high definition: YUV and HDMI (or DVI).

The emergence and spread of services to high-definition television in many countries allows new uses for viewers:

The image quality is far superior to established standards. Specifically, this improvement was the result of almost doubling the number of lines in the image displayed on the TV. Today, it is obtained with a definition of 576 active lines: HDTV, this number will increase to 1 080. This allows to project images of larger sizes and make visible the details much finer. Displayed in 16:9 format, as in film, the image will reach its full compatibility with high definition TVs (screens LCD, Plasma, Overhead projectors and video).

sound quality is also optimized. HDTV allows you to enjoy 5.1-channel sound, which can transcribe finely spatialization of sound as we naturally perceive. The quality is restored comparable to that obtained with a home theater installation. For this, the user will then have two stereo channels, a center channel, two rear channels and a low channel frequency optional. This is a new dimension that immerses viewers further inside the action.

Telnet
Protocol dapplication defines the emulation of a terminal on theInternet. It opens a connection with server distance as if he was consulted on site. Before being possible directly on the web, access to remote library catalogs was first performed via Telnet. Telnet is a Protocol unsecured, the information encrypted in transit is not unlike SSH.

Terabit
The terabit is equivalent to a trillion bits, or one thousand gigabytes, or one million megabits.
