UHF
Frequency between 300 MHz and 3 GHz, corresponding to a wavelength between 1 meter and 10 centimeters. In France the UHF band is designed in Television Analog Overland (TAT) to the 5 national channels, sometimes at Canal Plus and since March 2005, Network Television Digital Overland (TNT).
In France, the band 470 to 830 MHz (channels 21 to 65) is assigned to the CSA (as a "broadcasting service") as exclusive and theARCEP (as "mobile") as secondary, with use restricted to auxiliary broadcasting band from 830 to 862 MHz (channels 66 to 69) is assigned to the Department of Defense (as a "mobile") to exclusive, with potential use for broadcasting by the CSA under the conditions fixed by agreement between the Ministry of Defense and the CSA.
