Frequency between 30 MHz and 300 MHz, corresponding to a wavelength between 1 and 10 meters.
In France, the band between 174 and 223 MHz is allocated to the High Council of Audiovisual (CSA) as a "broadcasting service" and Authorization of Telecommunications Regulatory (ARCEP) As a "mobile" with equal rights. A Memorandum ofagreement signed in 1986 between the Directorate General of Telecommunications (DGT) and Television of France (TDF) has defined geographic areas and parts of the band who are the subject of sharing.
Note that the radio service that uses this band (Radiocom 2000, mobile radio service first generation) was arrested since late 1998. Currently in France, only with Canal + (in Analog) Are available on this band frequenciesAnd radio (VHF Band II: Frequency 88 to 108 MHz).

Viaccess is the encryption mode historically developed by France Telecom and used by several different satellite platforms including AB Sat and GST secure their dissemination DigitalAnd prevent hackers from accessing their content. To date, 4 versions have been developed, the latest being viaccess 2.6.
Videodisc
Hard to store information (images, video ,...) form Analog.
Videotex
System allowing the user request the display on a television screen pages of information encoded form Digital and stored in a remote database.
