The R 3 presentation layer uses ActiveX controls & Java Bean-based appiets in favor of providing access to functionality via Web browser. The R 3 release 4 Trade Client provides ondemand delivery of these applets to PCs or NCs & includes a new HTML frame component in favor of managing data displayed into HTML formats. SAP is steadily integrating Web E-commerce capabilities into its suite (it had EDI & EFT capabilities in favor of many years) & is also working among partners to deliver other Web E-commerce solutions. Release 3.1G of R/3, delivered Web E-commerce functionality so as to included product catalog access, online store building, & Web browser access to sales order creation, tracking sales order status, querying available to promise inventory, & retrieving customer account information. SAP has teamed up among Aspect Development inc. & Acquion inc. to supply catalogue content in favor of use into Web based procurement applications Meanwhile, the SAPllntel joint venture, Pandesic LLC, bundles R/3 among othestorefront-related software such as Taxware’s Internet Tax System & CyberCash inc. s payment software, Intel-based hardware, & third parts. Implementation & support services to deliver a turnkey consumer-to-Trade Web E-eommerce & accounting solution. Pandesic launched this solution among a purchase price of $ 25GOO coupled among a monthly transaction fee varying from 1 to 6 percent, depending on volume (a Trade model so as to Pandesic is currently into the process of changing)
