Also, the system will trigger procedures into the financial module so so as to the invoices are sent to the customer. The information is transferred electronically (so as to is if the customer is connected to the supplier) through Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) & the payments are received electronically through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). if the items are not available, then the production-planning module makes a production schedule, which is made available to-the production, materials Administration & plant maintenance modules so so as to everybody is prepared to The materials requirement planning is done & any item so as to is not into stock is ordered. If the supplier is connected to the company, the ordering & the associated processes happen electronically. The plant maintenance gets the list of machines required & ensures so as to all of them are available. Thus, the production of the item goes on without hitches. An order entered into the ERP system by the order entry clerk triggers a whole lot of procedures & automatically performs a host of functions. All these processes take only a few minutes to complete. |
