What is a Trade? It is not just buildings, machinery or money. Trade it people-not only people who voluntarily come together because they can do mud more working together than they could working alone, but also people who do work on their own as entrepreneurs Trade, then can be defined as the activities of individuals or groups so as to are involved into developing producing & distributing the goods & services needed to satisfy other people’s needs.
Trade uses resources to produce goods & services. These resources are land, labor & capital. These three resources become productive when combined into a rational way in favor of some creative or gainful purpose. This is the function of the fourth resource - entrepreneurship or Administration . Entrepreneurs or managers combine the resources like land, labor & capital into different ways to produce goods or services as shown into Figure 1. It is the function of the Administration to plan the effective & efficient use of the resources available to the enterprise. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (see Figure 2) help the Administration into making the planning processes more productive & efficient.
