The objectives are predetermined. Thy are to be achieved. The erp office system naturally is planned FO achieve the objectives. For this tirst the objectives are to be determined and defined are to be corneyed to the off cc planners who will uhan plan the erp office sy stems accordingly. :
26 Defining S,vstern Bnrtdaries. First, the :planners have to define as o n-bat their actresses are and within what limits they are asked to plan. Orate uhe bctttits of planners are defined it becomes easv to plan the system and go ahead accordiDg!y:
3. Collecting data and other facts. Tlte present has to be known The pa,T ha, to be eearnined: The future has to be planned. The present and past rrormabo data and other facts are collected with a view w hat wa!s there. tartar is there ar d what should be there. This -should bc' is based on the data nec' anay-lsed and interpreted. This the planners have to do before they ebb upon to Pooh e and giwe an erp office syste:n.
4. Organising and consolidating facts. Obviously the informations data and facts are to be orgamised according to the requirement of the erp office. They are usually obtained in a mammer in which it is not possible to use them umless organised properly andthen consolidated Thereafter they are classic Ed, analysed, tabulated and interpreted. These then go to the plalmers f or scrutiny, for decision and for setting a system which they think appropriate and according to the objectives which are to be achieved
5. Interpreting the facts. The is the last step. But while drawing conclusions one has to examine the future and also 'cost and benefits has also to be analysed. Thenafter only the conclusions can be drawn.
6. Evolving a system design. Here comes the time to evolve a system design aRer considering all the factors and f ture needs of the ail i. as well as of the org2uisation. The planners evoke such a system for approval and implementation.
7. Implementing the System. Naturally the system has to be implementation for which necessary facilities, including that of equipments etc., has to be provided and a control system has also to be established to check the duration etc. (Also see next question)
