Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize layout, design, and production of electronic materials, including: interface design, site usability and testing, e-commerce websites, multimedia products, DVD authoring, video production.
• Design and create original material using basic elements of graphic design (i.e., color theory, typography, layout, design software) incorporating elements of the Accenture brand, when appropriate.
• Maintain open dialogue with customers and understand expectations.
• Communicate the status of projects to customers including total time estimate, time of completion, and outstanding issues.
• Accurately track time to projects on a daily basis.
• Outsource projects/tasks to internal or external service providers as required (e.g., programming, CGI scripting, etc.) Obtain bids. Schedule production.
• Understand & execute the guidelines and policies of the Accenture Brand.
• Serve as a consultant to project management on production values, processes and cost
• Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates when required.
• Keep current on new graphic techniques and technologies, recommending changes as appropriate.
• Proficient in a variety of web publishing and graphics software packages.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Web Design Knowledge: General understanding required in the following areas:
Creative process
Multiple web-production techniques, Advanced knowledge of graphics and web software packages, including: Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash
Advanced knowledge of usability and testing
Two years ASP
Two years Visual Basic
HTML
ASP
VBScript
SQL
MS SQL Server v7
Media Knowledge: General understanding of some or all of the following areas:
Streaming video
Video production (pre and post production)
DVD authoring
Graphics Design Knowledge: General understanding required in the following areas:
Creative process
Technical design requirements (traditional and electronic media)
Design and print production techniques
Software and hardware used in design process
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
Strong time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Awareness of project management principles.
Ability to articulate creative concepts to team members and customers is necessary.
