 -          Lead the interaction with the customer teams to map business processes with the packaged solutions and to elicit the business requirements.

-           Define project objectives- scope, plan and deliverable and set time lines and collaborate with project/ QA team to ensure quality deliveries.

Job Description
• Managing overall operations for executing multiple projects related to civil constructions like roads , building , industrial sheds etc of various types within cost & time parameters.

• Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects.

• Plan and coordinate to establish policy, procedures and define respective roles and procedures.

• Preparing the design & communicating it to the team of project engineers.

• Developing the project plan, quantifying resources and time required for completion.

• Defining the techno-commercial terms and inviting bids from vendors to award subcontracts.

• Preparing and monitoring Macro/Micro Level Project Schedules using various software's with planner.Planning, managing and overseeing the project delivery , reviewing and monitoring the design of all parts of the civil construction.

• Setting up the schedule for materials, equipment and manpower based on the project plan.

• Monitoring and controlling progress, ensuring completion according to schedule and budgets.

• Evolving systems and procedures to maintain cost efficiency and profitability.

• Monitoring on-site project progress and assuring completion within the budgets & in compliance with quality norms.

Site & Construction Management :

• Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.

• Reviewing the engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates for change orders, review & analyze contractor's change order proposals & submittals.

• Inspecting field sites to observe and evaluate condition and operability of facilities and structures, and to collect field survey data and measurements.

Materials Management :

• Directing the development and implementation of key procurement strategies / contingency plans and ensuring that strategies & plans are aligned with project requirements.

• Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
Commercial Operations / Coordination :

• Managing the tendering process from floating of bids & tenders to awarding of contracts; coordinating with contractors with regard to techno-commercial negotiations.

• Conducting meetings with client & consultant on contractual matters regarding progress of works, claim situations and other construction issues.

• Liaising with government agencies for obtaining various approvals / clearances.

 
Desired Candidate Profile
B. Tech/B.E. Civil Engineer from a reputed college/university with 15-20 years overall experience in the multiple Construction Engineering & Methodology, Planning, Scheduling,Resource Analysis, Productivity Detailing and Monitoring,Costing and Budgeting, Work Execution, Follow up &Problem solutions to achieve Time&cost Targets. He must have experience in managing Roads / Building (residential / industrial) Project.

Should be fully conversant with technical , legal and safety aspects of construction management .

The candidate should have the following :

• Technically sound, Cost and Quality conscious.

• Engineering co-ordination in big EPIC projects.

• Project Planning especially of civil Project.

• Preparation of sub-contract Enquiries, Drafting of Tender and Project Specifications.

• Obtaining approvals from competent authorities.

• Can prepare cost estimates, invite & award tenders of all types of work

• Knowledge of logistics construction, working and exposure to shipping Logistics.

• Excellent knowledge of using IT effectively for project and office management.

Should have exposure in working at ovearseas location in civil construction / Projects. Possessed international exposure and proficient at project implementation, preparation of budgetary & commercial offers/ tenders and technical proposals for national & international civil projects.
 
Candidate should be good in English ( Written / Verbal ) ,good liaisoning capabilities , sincere , hard working , dedicated , intelligent & be able to influence . Computer literate, ability to understand technical specification and communicate / convincing effectively is must.
