Job Description
Operations and Information Technology Analysts (2) ; Ideal candidate would be from a Management School with strong system analytical skills and very Good exposure to ERP implementation or a Degree in Computer Sciences with strong analytical skills. Previous exposure to IT function in Agri-based industries, especially in Sugar Industry, is desirable. 5 to 8 years of post qualification experience. Knowledge of SQL Servers, Novel Netware and Fox pro 2.60 would be an advantage.
Deliverables expected from the candidate include;
(a) Ensure smooth functioning of IT Operations. Lead and develop the IT Team.
(b) Understand and evaluate the proposed up-gradation of the ERP system, understand its requirements, assist the operational heads to fine tune the operating systems and procedures so as to ensure that the ERP system is effectively implemented and used .
(c) Ensure that each area of operation and related procedures are effectively mapped into the ERP system and Bring total company operations into IT environment.
(d) Coordinate and drive the implementation process of ERP across all departments. Effective implementation would be a key performance area.
(e) Continually Coordinate training of personnel on ERP.
(f) Analytical Role : Analyze and Interpret the data from the ERP System. Evaluate each area of operation to achieve operational and cost efficiencies in operations. Monitor the operational and cost efficiencies from the data on the ERP and MIS Reports generated there from. Highlight deficiencies and submit recommendations to the Management on ways and methods to improve cost efficiencies. |
