Lot

In the manufacturing industry, collecting, the production unit when it produces the similar product. For example, collecting a certain product, when 1000 it produces, these 1000 are the lot (1 lot). Batch (batch) it is used in similar sense, but the lot there are times when it is used properly depending upon industry and the company.

Because the lot in producing (the production lot and the production lot), it is gathering of the product which is produced under identical conditions, even in the aspect of quality control because quality can consider gathering of the identical product, when it is the product where delicate quality is questioned, there are times when production lot number is seriously considered.

Also the unit of processing job other than producing is called the lot, is an order lot, a buying lot, a payment lot, a conveyance lot and an inspection lot etc.. Regarding circulation physical distribution industry, the freight unit of transport, the cargo handling and storage is the lot (the transport lot, physical distribution lot other things).
