Materials Requirements Planning
The Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a technique for materials management, based on the calculation for each of the codes of material requirements necessary to contribute to operational programs. In other words Material Requirement Planning methodology for proactive management limited to only two areas of the company: materials management and production, by scheduling supplies and orders.
The MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) systems are software products for computing connected network. In the seventies it was realized that the instrument could evolve to become capable of managing priorities and production time.
